SQLBalance for SQLBase helps
to solve this problem. It accomplishes this task in the following
way:
1) It reads the structure of databases,
builds the tree of object correspondences of the compared
databases, marking differences by the different colour.
2) Shows full information about the object
in the form of the table and as a DDL script.
3) Forms the DDL script, which removes
differences between chosen objects of the compared databases
or in the whole database. DBA can perform synchronization
object-by-object and in the whole database. Besides, the
program keeps a detailed log of the performed operations.

SQLBalance
for SQLBase is a powerful utility for DBA, which allows to compare
and synchronize the structure of different databases, controlled
by SQLBase server.
Databases, which you wish to compare, may be located on different
servers. For this the databases should be subscribed in the Gupta Connectivity Administrator. This utility may turn to be extremely useful when, for
example, it is necessary to transfer the changes from the developer's
local database to the common database of the company. As a rule,
this procedure turns into the routine many-hour reviewing and comparing
of the changed scripts, and after that - manual forming of the
synchronization script. During this process there can appear mistakes,
which are not always easily found.
 System
requirements
SQLBalance for SQLBase doesn't have any special
system requirements and can be installed under any operational
system of the Windows family - Windows 98 or its later versions.
You need approximately 3 Mb of free space on the hard disk
for the installation of this program. To work with this program you need to have on the user's computer "Client Components" from the SQLBase server installation.
Installation
To install SQLBalance for SQLBase you
need to have administrator's rights. The installation process is
very easy, as it is made as a Wizard. Everything you have to do
is to follow Wizard's instructions.
